I've got a year old Dell which was at the time the cheapest one that they sold - a Dimension 2400. We upgraded the RAM when Sims 2 came out. Other than that we have made no modifications to the computer. I think that the specs for this game are fairly similar to the specs for Sims 2. If you can run Sims 2, this will probably work. And it is very good when it works.
