Number of Reviews: Doom 3 was one of the most highly anticipated games and after playing it, I can understand why. This game has awesome graphics, and gameplay is really good. The creatures look realistic, and the muscle movements and expressions are incredible. The choices of weapons are amazing, and the lighting is so realistic, which make the shadows look really good. There's no difference in CG graphics and gameplay graphics. They basically look the same, which is pretty nice. The monsters are pretty much the same from the classic Doom games, but they are modified in some way. Another good part of this game is how scary it is. I was told to play this game in the dark and with a good sound card and nice surround speakers, and it scared the crap out of me. The only flaw to this game is its replay value. Once you beat this game, you wouldn't want to play it again right away. You'll probably put it back in your shelf and wait a few months, because once you play it, you know where all the creatures lurk, and it's nothing new. But I definitely recommend buying this game. You won't be disappointed.
