It's even fun for total dorks like me! I'm not a big fan of shoot-em-up type games, but after reading some reviews for GTA:VC, I studied it a bit further. After hearing about the amazing graphics and open-ended play, I decided to take a chance and lay down my money. Only twenty bucks considering this game's been out for some time. It was well worth it. Firstly, yes, the graphics are great. I wouldn't say spectacular, but very good. The scale of the world of Vice City, though, IS truly amazing. There's virtually no where you can't go, and the sheer size of the city itself is daunting. The open-endedness of the game is what really turned me on. I could clobber bums (...) for some extra pocket money, or steal myself a cab to raise some dough. I've tried a few of the missions and rampages, but will obviously need some more practice with weapons before completing them. I look forward to using my clout on the street to advance through the missions. Coming from someone who's idea of a fun computer game is anything "Sim"-related or with the word "Tycoon" in the title, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is indeed refreshing, despite the bloody mess.
