THQ loss shrinks (Reuters)
Reuters - Video game publisher THQ Inc. reported a smaller quarterly loss on Wednesday and its shares fell 5.5 percent as weak revenue and a forecast of higher marketing costs triggered earnings' concerns. more

Investor's Business Daily - Massive multiplayer online role playing games such as "World of Warcraft" and "Second Life" are being used to train terrorists, according to an Australian security report. The games have multiple registered terror groups, the largest being the Second Life Liberation Army. Rohan Gunaratna, terrorism expert and author of "Inside Al Qaeda," said groups use online worlds because they can rehearse attacks that ordinarily could not be practiced. more
