Sony to launch navigation accessory for PSP
(Reuters)
Reuters - Sony Corp. (6758.T) plans to
sell a satellite navigation accessory from February 2008 that
turns its handheld PSP games console into a navigation device,
the company announced at the Leipzig Games Convention on
Wednesday. more

AP - Musical games have long had their niche in the video-game industry. Fans of "Dance Dance Revolution" or "Pump It Up" like to show off their footwork; "SingStar" and "Karaoke Revolution" attract "American Idol" wannabes. Such games can be fun at parties and they've always had a devoted audience, but they never really attracted the masses.

Video game market to grow 50 pct in 4 yrs: Ubisoft

Reuters - The market for video games is
expected to expand by half over the next four years as it
extends beyond hardcore gamers, the chief executive of French
video game publisher Ubisoft said on Wednesday.
