My Life As A Video Game Being a pirate myself, I was excited to see that a game had finally been made to show the public what it is like to be me. I got a hook for a hand, two peglegs(screw those losers with only one pegleg), and one sexy long beard. I pillage stuff and kill people everyday. You'd think that since I do this in real life all the time that I wouldn't want to do it in a video game too, but you'd be wrong. Pillaging rules. 'Pirates' is okay. Its gets a bit repetitive sometimes, like in the constant dueling. Its unrealistic too because I never lose a duel in real life because I rule, but in the game I occasionally lose which is totally unrealistic. The dancing parts of the game are repetitive and unneeded. Everyone knows that pirates don't dance. The best parts of the game though are the battles at sea(which are much too easy on lower settings)and when you invade an enemy town(which in my book is every town). These parts are pretty sweet because violence and killing stuff rules. All in all, 'Pirates' is a nice attempt to show people what its like to be me. But they fall a bit short and I can't justify the $50 it costs. If you wanna hang with a real pirate, let me know and I'll let you swab my poop deck.
