Number of Reviews: The story of STAR WARS - THE SITH LORDS picks up about five years after STAR WARS - KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC. the story may remind you a bit of STAR WARS EPISODE III, and the classic trilogy, EPISODES IV-VI; in the sense that you are the last of the... more
It Could've Been Great Underneath the bugs and plot holes of Knights of the Old Republic II is a great game struggling to get out. The gameplay, which is essentially the same as the first KOTOR is wonderful, though the addition of lightsaber forms really doesn't do much, and... more
An incomplete game. What could've been a great classic on par with the original KOTOR has become a mediocre, bug filled incomplete game due to a rush christmas release date for the xbox. Obsidian did not have time to finish and polish the game leaving major holes in the... more
This game has lots of bugs and an incomplete story. The gameplay would be great if it weren't for the bugs. Also the story is incomplete so you get a quantem leap to the ending where you get to go, I paid money for THIS?!!
They also took out a force powers that all classes used to have. Only... more
An "Also-Ran" to an Awesome Game. I'll admit it. I am a huge fan of the first Knights of the Old Republic. So when I heard they were developing a sequel, I was excited! However, once I played the game, I was rather let down by it for a number of reasons.
Don't get me wrong,... more
Get a patch already Until LucasArts get an updated patch out for this game... it is definatley not worth buying. Way too many issues, glitches, and bugs. Fun game... but it needs a patch to work out its issues

Really REALLY not play-tested, but still good KOTOR 2 is a great game. It's as engaging as KOTOR 1 and gives more of the same, which is completely welcome. The story is good, if inconsistent at times. There seems to be a big discrepancy about whether Revan was a male or female, depending on who... more
Good Game It's appropriate to first announce that the game has faults. A great deal of bugs, repeated dialogues, glitches that can be unfavorable or the opposite, and holes in the plot. I guess why so many people think it is inadequate compare w/ KOTOR is that... more
hmmmmm it's not bad for me. well I've never played the first game, planning on doing that in the summer when I have more time.
In my opinion I think the game is not bad, at least the storyline was decent. Seriously, those who say there is no ending need to look beyond... more
Fool Me Twice Remember a game, way back when, called Outpost? Probably not. But I remember it. Hyped to death by the gaming press (then much smaller and generally more honest), it was a flaming car wreck. I mean, not just a bad game, basically almost no game, and certainly... more
Number of Reviews: Buy this game.
KOTOR II gets it right in a lot of ways. While some of what has been written here IS true: Graphics and Game play now significantly enhanced, dialogue more limited etc, Obsidian has created an immensely enjoyable game.

No ending at all! This game is incomplete and has no ending at all! Story doesn't make sense, lots of bugs... Furthermore, lots of stuff leaved unexplained because developers just simply went over and cut a huge part of the game.. While doing so, they forgot to fix the... more
Is that it? Well yes... Two thirds of the game are playable...and fun... But what hapenned with the last third? Is there something missing? Something rushed? This game is half shorter than the first Knights Of The Old Republic! This could have been a great game if... more
More of the same Before I start, just let me say that I loved the first game, one of the RPGs i really loved. I bought this game with very high hopes, thinking it would bring more gameplay and an even better plot. However, the gameplay is more or less just the same, and... more
SW KotOR II Not Ready for Playing I have KotOR I (PC) and all patches. Game of the Year - 2003 and maybe the best game in the last 5 years. I bought KotOR II (PC) on Feb 8 2005. Finished it March 9 2005. I had most if not all the problems mentioned previously by other reviewers from... more
Fun game... But not worth the price... Do Not Buy This Game!!! There are so many bugs in this game that it is almost unplayable... This is also not a complete game... there are portions of the story that are missing. Lucas Arts to date has also not released a patch and no information is forthcoming... more
Great Potential Lost... First, the good stuff. Those of you who have played the first in the KOTOR series will find many of the most enjoyable features of that game enhanced and elaborated on: Many more lightsaber crystals, and the addition of three different component categories... more
A true disapointment While its true that there were some improvments in the game, it was shipped in a unfinished state. Its plauged with bugs, so many that its difficult to play to the end. I would not buy this game, the storyline is ok, but its not worth the frustration... more
An unfinished game Simply put, this game was published before it was completed. It has no ending, no conclusion. It reaches a climax and stops. Then there is a short cinematic that makes utterly no sense in the context of the events leading up to it. There are many plot... more
Incomplete in everyway 1/2 The quests arent complete for this game. Very buggy. More plot holes that swiss cheese.
You can tell it was rushed....if you want to know what this game was missing, all you have to do is look at Obsidians forums. To bad as had potential... more
