OK... I have only played the demo, but...
I am not going to rave on and on about how great this game is like those other nicompoops with terrible spelling and grammer. I am not going to go on about what and who you are or who your squad is. I am going to tell you, and give a you, a honest to god review of this game. This game comprises of a fully interactable environment with terrific graphics. Not kidding. And I've played some heavy stuff, like Halo2 and Half Life 2 and their graphics can't compare with this thing (OK, Maybe Half Life 2 beats it but...). The gameplay is not that bad. It's not everyday a game comes out with such a smart squad. But those ravers left out things, like how Sev, the team sniper, can't even manuever around a tree, or how Fixer, your second in command, gets stuck to the wall. I mean, come on! And you seem to have a serious lack of ammunition. Your weapon, the DC-117, manufactured by BlasTech Corp., has three functions: assault rifle, sniper rifle, and anti-armor rifle. The assault rifle has 300 rounds, in five sixty round magazines. This may seem like a lot, but it won't when you find that this gun needs twenty shots to kill a Trandoshan slaver on easy settings. Sniper mode consists of twenty rounds in four five shot magazines. These are actually decent, but why only four mags? They're smaller that your hand, after all. The last, anti-armor rifle, or a grenade launcher, has the ability to take out armored stuff, like a huge Spider Droid, or shielded Droidekas. And you're supposed to take on eight droidekas with four shots. Oh god. And did I mention that your team has no idea how to switch to the necessary weapons when needed? They can only snipe in certain places, but when those places aren't available, they waste half their ammo on a target a miles away. Jeez! Your team can't switch to anti-armor mode either. Disappointment huh? You'll probably end up grabbing guns off the floor and using them instead of your rifle. Or you'll be using your nice little pistol. It's rechargable, thanks to Tibianna gas. How convenient. Oh, did I mention that it can only fire a couple of shots before having to recharge? And you'll be probably using that sometimes instead of the assault rifle, just to save some ammo. But this game has one rather innonative feature. When a teammate is down, he's not gone. How? You go next to him and administer some bacta, and he wakes up again! Simple right? Maybe, but maybe not when you're trying to dodge fifty machine guns at the same time. So this is the ultimate weapon, huh? Your squad is sure impressive. They stick to walls, don't know how to take cover, use world war one suicidal charge tactics, etc. etc. You for one, you people, try to realize this game for what it is. A typical and repetitive first person shooter. Wait till it drops to twenty bucks before you buy it. Or you'll be sorry. Now I gotta' go, and I hope you appreciated this review.
Note:I have played both the PC and XBOX demo for this game.
