A sequel that works
Oddly they did that too. They made a sequel that was just as great as the original. An old fashioned adventure game that doesn't want you to kill people (or things), just makes you think and use your head. Unlike the mindless shoot-em-ups being shoved... more

Really Fun Game!
I really enjoyed this game. I liked Syberia too, but I guess by this time, playing Syberia II I was used to all the little quirks that annoyed me in Syberia. The story line is fun (although I have to admit I still don't understand the obsession with... more

Very fun, but shorter than the first
This sequel was as much fun and as beautiful as Syberia I. However, some of the puzzles at the end were rediculously difficult, and the game was much shorter than Syberia I. However, I recommend it, and wish there were more games that were this interesting,... more

Great Game
Wow!

What a great game! I was totally entertained with both Syberia I and now I have just completed II. Makes me laugh when I see that anyone would say Syberia II was too short. It just goes to show you how delightful both of these... more

The thinking man's adventure game
SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!

I just finished Syberia 2 and I must say I am disappointed. You're wondering how I can give the game 5 stars and say I'm disappointed?! Well, it wasn't as good as the first but I think that's mostly because the first... more

Good sequal - same old style
Impressive scenery; great storyline; funny lines; same story and game. That pretty much summons it all up. If you have Syberia you'll need Syberia II to get a conclussion - dispite there's no conclussion on what our heroine Kate Walker will do - a little... more

BRILLIANT, BEAUTIFUL, WORTH IT!
I have to admit that when I finshed and replayed over and over again Syberia I, it seemed almost too good to be true that there would be a sequal. HURRAY, HURRAY!

The graphics are BEAUTIFUL as usual, game play in terms of "to-ing and fro-ing"... more

Brilliant and Beautiful
Syberia 1 and 2 are the best video games I have ever played. Finding the clues and items is difficult but always interesting: strategies are never simple and cannot be solved with brute violence. Characters seem to jump out of the screen with their very... more

Major flaws I'm not willing to overlook...
First off, I want to establish that I've never played Syberia I -- and judging from the glowing reviews I'm seeing everywhere on the Web for Syberia 2, it may be a good thing. It seems that with every Syberia 2 review I've read so far, the author is carrying... more

Kate Walker, Hans Voralberg and Oscar head for Syberia
It was a story about Benoît Sokal's "Syberia 2" that got me interested in playing the game and so I picked up "Syberia" knowing full well that this was a two-part game. So for me it was pretty much one giant adventure and since the original "Syberia"... more

Good game, but very short
I just finished Syberia II and overall was pleased with the game. My major complaint is that is it too short. I am an inexperienced gamer and I completed it in a weekend. I spent longer on the first one than this one.

As previous reviewers... more

Quest left me cold
I used to be heavily into adventure games. This was back in the heyday of the Commodore 64, when Infocom was king. Those people really knew how to tell a story and make puzzling fun. Then the graphics revolution came, and adventures became more about... more

Syberia II even better!
Way to go Benoit! I was looking forward to this after playing the first one and I wasn't disappointed! Again, awesome graphics and music. I sure hope this has a part III!

not nearly as good as the first
the first syberia i really enjoyed, a few boring parts but in general, very nice. syberia 2 on the other hand is less than what i had expected. the main issue i have with this game is dialogue. lets face it, its terrible. for example, you talk to a girl... more

the story continues
Found URU to be very disappointing and returned it. Then my children found Syberia. This is a magnificent piece of work. The graphics are exquisite and the music appropriate. The ease of use is apparent. The story line is interesting and original.
I... more

let down
I thought that Syberia I was one of the best adventure games ever produced. Syberia II continues the story line and has superb graphics just like the first one. I believe more work should've been put into creating relevant, logical puzzles for the game.... more

Slightly less entertaining
Although the game (From my perspective) is a little less (Very little) entertaining then Syberia, one will not be disappointed with the game. Once again, Microids has come through with excellent graphics a good story with some new characters and some... more

Love the Youkols
Like Syberia I, this sequel provides fantastic graphics, cut scenes and plot. I enjoyed being revisited by some old friends too. The new characters add to the game and I enjoyed my companion Youki. Of all the areas Kate visited, I especially liked the... more
