Entertaining This is a game that will not get forgotten and just left to collect dust. I have had this game for 2 months, and it still entertains me when I have the time to pick it up and play. The graphics are WAY better, and you get to name your neighborhoods. There are lots more bulilding features ex. you can put your house on foundation and have decks. The socializing is also better, and more realistic. For example, it shows every sim is different, and your sims personality actually shows. A shy sim would rather not make out, and will refuse sometimes, even when married. But an outgoing sim will make out on couches before actually making out standing up yet. You also have REAL wedding ceramonies (no priest though) where they stand under the wedding arch in front of an audience. One of my guys ran away before accepting the ring, because he didn't really love the person, sometimes, when you're sim is just marrying a sim for a money, don't get married under the arch. You're sims do get pregnant, and twins are possible, i don't know about triplets though.Aftera period of time, they give birth, the babies don't just live in their cribs either. You have to BUY a crib and changing table. You bottle feed the babies, and change their diapers too (you know it's time to change when green fumes rise off the baby). After 3 days, the baby becomes a toddler, which is even worse. You have to teach the child how to walk, talk and use a toilet. You also give them baths, and read to them. Next is when their kids. They have homework they MUST do, or their grades will drop rapidly. They can also ask for homework help to get it done quicker. As long as its done, their grade rises. When their teens, they become more independent. They no longer rely on mom's meals for they can make their own. They can invite their meet people at school and bring them home. This is an easy way to make them love eachother. Adulthood is just taking care of kids, or living a single, yet romantic life. There are elders in this game also. They judt kind linger around until they die, so I feel they are worthless, but realistic. When they die, te grim reaper comes along. You can plead to him to spare your loved one or bargain with him. There are many new furniture pieces, and it's easy to have a room with, say, an island theme. Just buy a bed with blue sheets and light blue headboards, have aquamarine carpet, blue walls, a morracan coffee table (they do have coffee tables int his game) put a fruit arrangement on the table, and buy a fishtank. The sims clothing has also changed, there are 6 different outfits they have that thye can wear at different times. Everyday is what they wear most of the time. Formal is what they wear to weddings. Underwear is, well, their underwear, which is what they can sleep in too. Then come PJ's, no more of those ugly looking jammies that they used to have, you can have small, little silk lingerie dresses, or plaid flannael ones. Swimsuit is another thing you can choose. You can have a puny bikini, or a one piece. And last is work out. This is just athletic wear. This game is something that you can't stop playing! however this game should only be played by like 11-12 year olds and up.
