Buy this game and you'll get your $$$s worth!!!
Do you like RTS (real time strategy) games? Relic has taken the super-successful format of games like Heros of Might and Magic or Starcraft and made THE PERFECT GAME. There is not a single flaw in this game. From the beginning you are treated to... more

More interesting than Warcraft 3!!!
This game in many way mirrors Warcraft 3. Firstly, there are 4 races being Space Marines, Chaos Marines, Orks & Eldars.

The opening scene is no less than cinematic. It is excellent! The gameplay is very interesting in that one has to capture... more

The game that rocked my world
This is the game ive been w8ing for, the best game this year! As soon as i saw the start menu i was amazed by the 3D graphics, they are the best graphics ive seen on a game in a long time. Plus i liked the gameplay just like age of empires except based... more

Visceral?
If you like ridiculously proportioned cartoon characters getting blown around by explosions, this is your game. When I think of visceral, I think of the original Myth from about 6 years ago. That had body parts getting torn off and flipping through the... more

Junk Total War for this
Warhammer 40000 is by far the best RTS I have played in a long time. I gave Rome Total War 1 star because I simply hated it, boring to be honest, stunning graphics, but a snooze, Age of Mythology scoring 3 because it had a better story, but this one is... more

Nearly Perfect Warhammer RTS
teamwork is stressed in this game, no simple massive troop can win the war anymore.

the good:
diversity of troop/upgrade/strategy shall rule the day.
deep depth in units.
very good visual if your computer can handle it. more

Multiplayer Review
I'll keep this short and sweet because I'm not a big writer. The game has lots of minor and a few major bugs and imbalances that make the game not suitable for "pro" level play. If you want to be one of the top players of this game you will find yourself... more

Very Good RTS
When I saw this summer that this game would be released close to the release date of Rome:Total War (late september) I thought that I would buy this one first and quickly move on to Rome. Kind of like the appetizer before the main course. But it is... more

Just when you thought you had seen it all
After Homeworld, I figured the RTS genre was finished being defined (I've played them all going clear back to the original C&C). I had resigned myself to playing the same games on into the future with the main differences from generation to generation... more

Hot metal on target on time!
I just finished WH40000, and albeit a tad bit short (about 10-12 hours for the main campaign) this is the first RTS since the good ole' days of RTS action (Dune II, Command & Conquer, etc.) that not only held my attention but riveted me to my computer... more

It has its flaws, but it's a good (very short) RTS
I was anticipating this game after playing the beta, it's got awesome graphics, a nice assortment of races with differing units, and the sound is pretty good as well.

After having made the purchase, I don't think it was worth the price. ... more

More warrg!!
Take the best of the StarCraft crew, team them up with Games Workshop and have them make a 40k game? Results: The best RTS this planet has ever seen. The only downside that I can find is that I can only play a Space Marine campaign. Maybe we'll get... more

ONE OF THE BEST
Read the Title. This is one the the best games there is to play. with almost perfect graphics, cool game play, great sound,a great storyline and the ability to change your entire armys color sceme. This game exceeds what I and most people expected for... more

Good, despite being short
This is a great RTS game. It is very entertaining and there is always a lot of stuff going on. The graphics raise the bar for this game genre. Units are rendered great. Structure building is rendered great. And even the maps a re rendered very well. Animations... more

Starcraft 2?
Simply put, the game feels like what StarCraft II would probably feel like. Overall, the flow the of the game is outstanding, and the resource system is much more focused on expansion and a flexible defensive posture than just finding a particular spot... more

$50 for this?
I borrowed this game from a friend that found out he didn't have enough RAM to run the game. I was going to buy this game because of all the hype I had heard about it... good thing I borrowed it.
To start the game is too short to be worth my $50.... more

Not quite worth it!!!
First off, I generally liked Dawn of War. Numerous other reviews address and detail the strengths of this game. In many ways it is a step above the most recent generation of RTS games.

What I wish to address is the fact that the solo campaign... more

This game is so good, I paid full retail.
I am a very frugal person by nature. This is usually hard to reconcile with my desire to buy computers and computer games. My usual solution is to wait until a game goes "Gold" or gets some other value packaging ("The Mega Value Pack!"). Very, very... more

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhh!
Not being very familiar with the Warhammer Universe, I was weary of how this game would hold my attention. I should be spat upon by the Emperor's mules for such thoughts!
Relic has, once again, developed a heart-pounding, intriguing and unbelievably... more
